Why should I register for an account?
Registered customers are able to save time and money. Customers who have registered an account with American Targets will receive valuable discounts for future orders and receive information on new products when they become available.
Registered customers speed through the ordering process because they do not have to re-enter their shipping and billing information when they checkout. Registered customers may login prior to adding items to their shopping cart, or anytime during the shopping process. Logging into your account also provides you access to the status of your order, your tracking number, as well as access to past orders.

How can I order Items?
American Targets accepts orders online and by mail. Purchasers must be 18 years of age or older, or purchasing with parental consent.
Online ordering is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day. When ordering online, add items to your Shopping Cart and proceed to the Checkout. americantargets.com uses industry standard SSL technology to Privacy Policy and credit card information while your order is in transit.
Ordering by mail requires you send a printed copy of your completed order form and payment in an envelope to American Targets, P.O. Box 38, Blairstown, NJ 07825. Proceed through the ordering process online by adding items to your Shopping Cart and using the Checkout process until a credit card is required, then print your completed order form to mail it to us.

How do I add items to my Shopping Cart?
To add items to your shopping cart, click on a product category button on left hand side of the site. Then select a sub-category by clicking on its title. You may also choose to shop by displaying all products from particular manufacturer by using the search feature and typing in the manufacturer's name. Once you have located the product you wish to purchase, you may add it to your shopping cart by entering a quantity and clicking the Add to Cart button from either a sub-category page or a product detail page.
You may change the quantity of a specific product from within the shopping cart or remove an item altogether at anytime during the shopping process by clicking the View Cart button in the upper right hand corner of the site and using the update and delete options as necessary.
Once the contents of your shopping cart are correct you may proceed to checkout.

How do I Checkout?
If you have registered with American Targets, you may log in before proceeding to checkout, and all of your checkout information will be entered into the checkout form for you. After reviewing your order, click Send Order.
If you prefer not to register, you should enter all required information into the checkout form and click Send Order. Be sure to make a note of your order number.

What payment methods do you accept?
American Targets accept Visa, MasterCard, PayPal and Postal Money Orders. When payment is made by Credit Card, Please note that the name that will appear on your statement will be www.americantargets.com. Postal Money Orders will require up to 10 business says to clear. We do not accept personal checks or C.O.D. for orders.

How can I cancel my order?
Since we attempt to process and ship all orders within 24 hours, it is important to notify us immediately to cancel an order. Only orders that have not yet been shipped or are not in process can be cancelled. Please email us or use our contact us form to cancel an order.
If the order is in process or already been shipped, you will need to follow instructions for returns. Shipping, handling and freight charges (when applicable, this includes our shipping costs associated with FREE shipping offers) will apply to all orders shipped prior to our receiving your cancellation. Refusing to accept the delivery of your order does not constitute a cancellation of that order. You are still responsible for all costs associated with shipping the order to you. By refusing delivery of your order, you will receive a refund for the merchandise returned to us with a 15% restocking fee deducted from the total merchandise cost.
All cancelled orders will have the amount of the order refunded minus any charges incured by American Targets for the receipt of the payment for the order. Applicable charges include bank charges, paypal fees and credit card processing fees that have been assessed for receiving the payment as well as costs for refunding the payment. These fees can broadly be determined as a transaction fee and approximately 3% of the total amount of the order. International orders that have not contacted us prior to placing the order to receive and approve the calculated shipping charges will pay the applicable charges. In addition, American Targets will not accept any financial responsibility for fluctuations in currency for international orders that cancel an order and request a refund.

What if an item I order is on back order?
In the event that an item is temporarily unavailable, our suppliers do accept back orders and we will fulfill your order as soon as possible. If the order is partially back ordered, we will make a judgment to determine if the order can be shipped separately in two segments. Shipping charges for back ordered items will be the responsibility of American Targets. We will not wait for the entire order to come into stock before shipping in stock merchandise.
If an item in your order is on back order, any current information is posted and available through our Track Your Order feature available from our Home Page. Our Track Your Order feature will display the status and estimated time of arrival (ETA) of our next shipment from the manufacturer to complete your order.
If you wish to cancel your order for a backorder item, please email us or use our contact us form. If the order has not yet been shipped or is not in process, a refund/credit will be issued.

We make every effort to keep our web site up-to-date with inventory information and notify our customers of items that are currently out of stock on the product detail page.

What happens if there is a typographical error on the website?
We make every attempt to be sure that the information provided on American Targets website is accurate and correct, but occasionally an error may occur. We are not liable for any product informational typographical errors on the website. If you find an error on the website, please report it to us for immediate correction.
In the event an American Targets product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical error or error in pricing information, American Targets will have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed at the incorrect price. American Targets will have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, American Targets will issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the incorrect price.

Warranty Information
What type of warranty comes with my item?
All items, if any, are warranted directly by the manufacturers. If the product is defective, then see manufacturer warranty list for return instructions. No other warranty either expressed or implied is offered by Swap-N-Shop,LLC. American Targets is not responsible for normal wear & tear, abuse, or mistreatment of item(s). Items which are reported defective within 30 days of receipt will be replaced if possible or a refund will be issued. Claims reported after 30 days of receipt for any defects may be replaced or repaired at the discretion of American Targets at no charge.

Do you charge state Sales Taxes?
American Targets does NOT charge sales tax for orders placed outside of New Jersey! If you order within the state of New Jersey, you will be charged an additional 7% based on total merchandise ordered (including shipping and handling charges) for sales tax.
